How are charges calculated on my move? |

Charges are generally based on a combination of the weight of your shipment and the distance it will be traveling. Packing, storage, and crating are available at an additional charge. |

Yes, this list would include: explosives, gases, oxidizers, flammable solids, liquids, flammable liquids, corrosives, and poisons |

How do you estimate the weight of my shipment? |

In order to estimate the weight of your shipment, one of our moving consultants will generally visit you in your home to visually inspect all of your effects. |

Can I move my frozen food? |

Frozen food can be moved but only under specific, limited conditions. Be sure to discuss this with your Cassidy's agent. |

Can I move my pet? |

Pets cannot be carried on the moving van. Most pets can be moved in the family car. If this isn't convenient, your Cassidy's agent will be glad to suggest alternative methods. |

Can I move my houseplants? |

We cannot accept responsibility for safely moving your plants. They may suffer from a lack of water and light as well as probable temperature changes while in the van. You may prefer to transport them in the family car or to ship them by plane. |

Do my appliances need special attention? |

Most refrigerators, washers, dryers and other electrical or mechanical appliances require special servicing to ensure safe transportation. Your Cassidy's agent will be able to give you more information and arrange for the servicing if so desired. |

Can I move jewelry and other valuables? |

A: |
Items of extraordinary value such as jewelry, money, antiques and stamp collections can be included in your shipment provided you notify your agent before packing or moving day. However, we recommend that you carry these items with you. |

Will you ship my automobile? |

Yes, vehicles may be shipped via road or rail. Discuss with your agent which method you would prefer. |

How will my shipment be weighted? |
| |
A: |
All shipments are weighed on a federally inspected, government approved weight scale. The truck is weighed, your goods are loaded and then it is weighed again. The difference in the two weights is the actual weight of your shipment. |
